(PRWEB) September 23, 2004 -- It was hottest golf ticket in town on September 16, 2004. The Read-2-Lead Golf Classic (www.read2lead.org), hosted by San Juan Bautista Child Development Center (www.sjbcdc.org), was the center of attention at the Silver Creek Country Club in San Jose California. Golfers travelled from near and far to support this well attended golf classic. Golfers enjoyed sitings from waterfalls to mansions that graced the outskirts of this beautiful 18-hole course.

The sponsors of this event sustained the day with their donations of food, water and other items. A very heartfelt thank you to each of them: Wells Fargo, Costco, Metromint, Hometown Buffet, Anheuser-Busch, 100 Black Men, Alhambra Water, Youth Speaks, Faz Restaurant, Safe From The Start, African American Cancer Society, Dr. Brian Swann, San Jose Libary and San Jose State University.
