MotionCoach 1.4.0 Released

(PRWEB) May 29, 2004 -- Live Blending or Virtual Reality instruction, is the process where live real-time video is mixed with a moving swing model.

The model can be any of the swings included with MotionCoach. Optionally, the golf school can create their own model swings, opening opportunity to specialize and differentiate in the competitive instruction market.

The student normally views the results using Virtual Reality (VR) glasses, freeing them from looking at a computer screen for the visual feedback. Instructor and student see the same screen, creating a new platform of visual instruction.

This is just the latest of MotionCoach’s instruction technologies. The true power of MotionCoach, is that all its technologies (Side by Side, Static overlaid lines, Analysis of previously captured video, …) can be easily combined on one screen at the same time.

Because of its “JustDraw” interface, the golf instructor has total flexibility of which tools to bring onto the screen. The Instructor can make split second decisions and change the screen dynamically to communicate better with the golfer.

Typically in golf teaching, instructors give a drill to a student, only to come back 2 minutes later to find the student reverted back to an old, faulty movement. Instant feedback eliminates this by providing a virtual framework, allowing the student golfer to see what they are doing and feel the new movement pattern, without interfering gizmos. This results in enhanced and faster learning, more strongly engrained into the golfer’s memory.

With MotionCoach’s instant feedback to the student, the instructor is also free to work with other students. This increases efficiency of the whole golf school operation and maintains a superior level of personal instruction to each customer.
